Jumptuit Announces Appointment of Harold L. Vogel Ph.D. as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jumptuit Media & Entertainment

NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Jumptuit Media & Entertainment, Inc. announced today that Harold L. Vogel Ph.D., will serve as its Chairman of the Board. Jumptuit Media & Entertainment, Inc. is a vertical affiliate of Jumptuit, Inc. and part of the Jumptuit Group. Hal comes to the Jumptuit Group with a prominent career as an analyst, having been ranked as top entertainment industry analyst for ten years by Institutional Investor magazine and in 2011 inducted into the magazine's All-America Research Team Hall of Fame.

Dr. Vogel was a senior entertainment executive at Merrill Lynch for seventeen years. He is a chartered financial analyst (C.F.A.) and served on the New York State Governor's Motion Picture and Television Advisory Board and as an adjunct professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. He also taught at the University of Southern California's film program. Dr. Vogel currently heads an independent investment and consulting firm in New York City and lectures and writes on entertainment and media, travel and tourism, and extreme market conditions.  

Dr. Vogel has authored numerous books including: Entertainment Industry Economics: A Guide for Financial Analysis, 10th ed. (Cambridge University Press, forthcoming 2019); Financial Market Bubbles and Crashes: Features, Causes, and Effects, 2nd ed. (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018); and Travel Industry Economics: A Guide for Financial Analysis, 3rd ed. (Springer, 2016). Academic articles include: "An Analytical Review of Volatility Metrics for Bubbles and Crashes" (with R. Werner), International Review of Financial Analysis March 2015; and "Are there Economic Laws and Constant? - A Comparison to the Sciences," Journal of Contemporary Management, 1(2017)(March).
