Jury Finds Herbicide Roundup Causes Blood Cancer, Reports Domina Law Group

OMAHA, Neb., March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The first federal jury, and second jury in the country, found the most widely used and promoted herbicide in the world, Roundup®, caused blood cancer in a 70 year old farmer who used it on his 57 acre special products farm.

Domina Law Group pc llo, Omaha NE, filed the first case in the country for Midwestern farmers, and among the first half dozen in the country claiming the connection between the herbicide's Glyphosate chemical, and Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. 

The verdict in federal court today was issued in San Francisco where Roundup® cases have been consolidated for early trials.

Dave Domina, who filed the Nebraska part of the Roundup® battle for four Nebraskans including three farmers and an agronomist, was pleased.

The California case now moves to part two of the trial to present the question of specific causation between Roundup® and a single farmer's cancer.

The Nebraska case was filed in 2016 for Larry Domina, the lawyer's brother from Cedar County, former State Senator Bob Dickey also from Cedar County, Royce Jensen from York County, and Fremont agronomist Frank Pollard. All four contend exposure to Roundup® caused them to contract Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a blood borne cancer.
