Justin Mirro Joins Pi Capital as a Senior Advisor to Expand Automotive Practice

NEW YORK, March 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Pi Capital International LLC is pleased to announce that Justin Mirro has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Mr. Mirro broadens Pi Capital's reach, industry expertise and investment banking capabilities dedicated to the automotive sector.

Mr. Mirro has over 20 years of experience as an investment banker advising clients in the automotive, industrial and transportation segments at RBC Capital Markets, Moelis & Company, Jefferies & Company and Salomon Smith Barney.

Mr. Mirro is the President of Kensington Capital Partners LLC, a merchant banking firm that provides capital to automotive and industrial companies.  Kensington Capital also publishes The Motor Weekly newsletter (www.themotorweekly.com) that provides information on publicly traded automotive and commercial vehicle companies.  Mr. Mirro currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. and is the Chairman of Pure Power Technologies Inc., a portfolio company of Kensington Capital and supplier of diesel fuel injectors and turbocharges for OEMs and the aftermarket.  He also serves as Chairman of the External Advisory Board at the University of Michigan, College of Engineering, Integrated Systems Design Division. 

Mr. Mirro holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business.
