IP Multicast/Simulcast and Multi-Protocol
With real time voting selection, KAIROS automatically switches between analog and digital modulation, according to the type of signal so you never miss a call. KAIROS repeaters support analog, DMR Tier 2 & Tier 3, Paging (both Analog and POCSAG), and P25 Conventional protocols.
Expandable
KAIROS repeaters built with SDR technology are software upgradeable to multicast or simulcast Tier 3 multi-site capability, thus realizing a multi-site, multicarrier (simulcast or multi-frequency) system.

With no central core, KAIROS systems can be designed with a 1+1 hot standby (main and stand-by) mode with backup primary functionality across a multi-site network design to provide advanced system redundancy that enhances flexibility and reliability.

Compact and lightweight, KAIROS can be powered simply by a small solar panel with low power consumption. Due to its environmental robustness, KAIROS performs flawlessly in even the harshest site conditions.
