JVP Management Provides $140.2 Million Construction Loan for Alta New River in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale

Financing supports the construction of a 35-story, 400-unit luxury rental tower by Alta Developers, with groundbreaking set for November 2026

NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- JVP Management ("JVP") announced today that it has provided a $140.2 million senior construction loan to Alta Developers ("Alta") for Alta New River. Located at 100 SW 6th Street in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, the 35-story tower will include 400 luxury rental residences averaging approximately 840 square feet. The loan is JVP's third transaction with Alta.

Alta New River sits just two blocks from the New River Riverwalk and a short walk from Las Olas Boulevard. It is also less than one mile from the Ft. Lauderdale Brightline station, which offers high-speed rail service to Miami, West Palm Beach and Orlando.

Residents will have access to a resort-style pool deck with cabanas and chaise lounges, an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue area. The building will also include a fitness center with dedicated Pilates and strength-training spaces, a co-working lounge, club rooms and a spa, plus a nine-story parking garage. Residence interiors and amenity spaces are finished to the standard of the area's luxury condominiums.

Construction is expected to begin in November 2026, with completion anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2028. Kaufman Lynn Construction is the general contractor. Dorsky + Yue International is the architect, and One Line Design Studio is leading interior design. Greystar will manage the property upon completion.
