"Our hotel was thrilled to partner with the NFL to create a spectacular welcome for the fans this weekend," said Scott Blalock, vice president and general manager of the JW Marriott Indianapolis. "We are proud of our city and the opportunity to host the big game."
White Lodging thanks the National Football League for its support in using the image of the Lombardi Trophy, and Indianapolis-based Sport Graphics for the installation of the image.
"Sport Graphics was very happy to team up with the NFL and the JW Marriott to produce and install, arguably the most photographed image of (the week) in Indianapolis," said Kevin Hancock, Executive Vice President of Sport Graphics.
Hancock said the graphics are made of a material called window perf, which allows the image to be seen from the outside, but guests inside only see a tinted window. In total, the graphics are made of 922 panels, with each panel 10' wide and 4' tall. The Lombardi Trophy alone was 560 panels.
