Leading Dog Boarding and Daycare Celebrates College Basketball with Canine Competition

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J., March 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel is bringing the excitement of college basketball season to dog lovers everywhere with BARK Madness, a nationwide competition celebrating four-legged MVPs. From March 1^st to March 23^rd, pet parents across the country are invited to submit photos of their dogs for a chance to compete in a bracket-style showdown, ultimately vying for a $500 K9 Resorts gift card.

How it Works:

• Submit Your Dog: From March 1^st to March 23^rd, dog owners can enter by submitting their pet's photos via QR codes, email and social media. Submissions are not exclusive to K9 Resorts members, everyone is invited to participate. 
• Bracket Reveal: The top 16 dogs with the most votes will be selected and seeded, mirroring the Sweet Sixteen bracket. Each dog's pairing with a competing college basketball team will be determined by the number of likes received – the higher the like count, the higher the seed.
• Matchups and Winners: As teams advance in the tournament, so do their corresponding canine counterparts. With each round, K9 Resorts will announce the winning "dog teams" until one pup is crowned champion.
• Grand Prize: The pet parent of the dog matched with the championship-winning team will score a $500 gift card to K9 Resorts.
