NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Fortune announced today the addition of several speakers for the Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C., October 13 - 15 at the Salamander Hotel.
Kamala Harris, the first woman ever elected Vice President of the United States, joins Fortune Editor-in-Chief and Chief Content Officer Alyson Shontell for a conversation on Harris's trailblazing leadership. Harris will pull back the curtain on the shortest—and possibly most consequential—presidential campaign in American history, as detailed in her new bestseller 107 Days.
Lisa McClain, Chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, will discuss with Ellie Austin, Cochair and Editorial Director of MPW, the government shutdown, her role as the highest-ranking Republican woman in the House, and the future of politics in America.
"This year's MPW Summit features the highest percentage of women from Fortune's 100 Most Powerful Women list and stands out as one of our most global gatherings in recent years," said Fortune CEO Anastasia Nyrkovskaya. "The lineup of speakers—from Fortune 500 leaders to voices shaping government, sports, tech, commerce, and culture—is truly inspiring. I'm proud to say the Fortune team poured its heart and soul into making this year's Summit exceptional."
On Day One, Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, will join Diane Brady, Executive Editorial Director at Fortune, for a conversation on how the IMF navigates times of crisis and fundamental shifts in the global economy.

On Day Two, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, founder of As ever, will sit down with Fortune's Alyson Shontell to discuss launching a line of popular lifestyle products, navigating entrepreneurship in the public eye, and building a brand that will endure.
Special guest, Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., will close the day with insights on the global economy, geopolitics, and the company's commitment to advancing senior women.
The Summit's final day will include a conversation with Dina Powell McCormick, former deputy national security advisor in the first Trump administration, on the role of meaningful mentors. Muriel Bowser, the Mayor of Washington, D.C., and Ellie Austin, on guiding the city through major crises, such as the recent federal intervention, while balancing its dual role as a local community and the nation's capital.
