75-Year Industry Leader Acquires Nebraska PVF Distributor to Accelerate Growth

KANSAS CITY, Mo. and OMAHA, Neb., June 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- MKS, a Kansas City-based, family-owned pipe, valve, and fitting (PVF) distributor with over 75 years of industry experience, today announced the acquisition of Industrial Pipe & Supply (IPS) of Omaha, Nebraska. The transaction positions MKS to expand its specialized product offerings and customer service capabilities throughout the Midwest region while maintaining IPS's 30-year legacy of exceptional customer relationships.

The acquisition expands MKS's reach into the Nebraska and Iowa markets, positioning the company with another distribution point a 2.5-hour drive from its headquarters. This proximity enables same-day delivery of custom products, including custom gaskets, addressing significant market demand in the region.
