DENVER, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- KAP Group (KAP) is growing its advisory capabilities with the hire of Erin Roeder as Vice President. This expansion will enable KAP to broaden the firm's reach while maintaining its client-focused approach.
Since the firm's inception in 2009, KAP's experience includes advising over 25 real estate and private equity managers seeking institutional capital, creating a service that allows clients to focus on the operational aspects of their business while KAP handles the advisory and procedural aspects of their capital raise. KAP's clients have generated over $3 billion in capital commitments through commingled funds, joint ventures, and separate accounts.

Prior to joining KAP, Erin served as Vice President at Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management, where she was responsible for articulating the firm's market view, investment thesis, and competitive advantage across a broad range of communications. Her role involved developing relationships with existing and prospective clients, overseeing a communications program for more than 800 investors globally, and enhancing the firm's visibility and status as a thought leader within the investment community. Before joining Metropolitan, Erin served as Senior Vice President for Neighborhood Development at Trinity Real Estate, a division of the Parish of Trinity Church in New York City. In this capacity, she developed, managed, and began implementing a strategic plan to transform Trinity's 6-million-square-foot commercial portfolio in Manhattan's Hudson Square District into a dynamic, mixed-use community.
Erin received a J.D. from Yale Law School, where she continues to be involved in alumni fundraising activities. She graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
