Karen D'Antuono Rejoins Rubin Rudman as a Partner in Trusts & Estates Department

BOSTON, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rubin Rudman is pleased to announce that Karen D'Antuono has rejoined the firm's Trusts & Estates Department as a partner, where she will continue to advise high-net-worth individuals and families on developing and implementing sophisticated estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax plans. She joins the firm from Fiduciary Trust Company, where she served as Vice President and Trust Counsel. She previously spent over 13 years in Rubin Rudman's Trusts & Estates group, including nearly 10 years as a partner, after a decade in law firm and in-house roles.

D'Antuono advises clients on various estate planning documents and has deep experience with advanced planning strategies such as generation-skipping dynasty trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, and charitable remainder trusts. She has extensive expertise with lifetime wealth transfers involving real estate, life insurance, and closely held business interests, and regularly counsels clients on the formation and administration of private foundations and other charitable vehicles.

Earlier in her career, she was the Associate Director of Gift Planning at Tufts University, where she cultivated and secured complex planned gifts including charitable trusts, annuities, endowed funds, and gifts of art – an experience that continues to shape her strategic approach to philanthropic planning.

She has been named to Boston Magazine's Top Lawyers for Trusts & Estates (2022-2025) and is the former Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association's CLE & New Developments Committees, Trusts & Estates Section. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Wellesley College in 1994 and her J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2000.
