Katadyn Group adds the world's leading ultraviolet, handheld water purifier to its brand family
KEMPTTHAL, Switzerland, July 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Katadyn Group announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of Hydro-Photon, Inc. the makers of the world's leading ultraviolet, handheld water purifier, the SteriPEN. The acquisition is planned to close near the end of July 2017.

SteriPEN's marketing and distribution operations will move to Katadyn's North American headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. SteriPEN will maintain a small technical office in Ellsworth, Maine.
