Canel brings more than 10 years of experience in global marketing and digital media strategy. In her most recent agency role she served as Vice President, U.S., Multicultural and Latin America at Eikon Digital. With advanced knowledge of digital marketing, e-commerce and technology platforms, Canel has managed and organized multiple teams while creating forecasting and reporting for offices across the globe. Her programmatic specialty includes trading strategy, tactical planning, buying, optimizing and data integration, while her brand marketing roles have spanned the pharmaceutical, finance, CPG, auto, travel and entertainment industries. Canel is an alumna of Ursuline College and Columbia Law School.
As a sign of her rising profile, Canel recently joined the Portada Agency Star Committee, one of the six units of Portada's Council System. Working amongst an elite group of brand marketing, tech and media thought leaders, the Agency Star Committee is comprised of senior media buying executives who deftly use passion points and cultural insights to target consumers in innovative ways.
