AKRON, Ohio, Feb. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- KeepAnOpenHeart.com, an online community for individuals to connect on the topic of living life with an open heart, and The Open Hearts Foundation, a nonprofit charity established to honor those who have experienced challenges and transformed personal adversity into opportunities to help others, have announced an exciting contest that is sure to inspire. The Share Your Open Hearts Story Contest will celebrate those who truly epitomize the Open Hearts Philosophy, which is based upon actress, artist and philanthropist, Jane Seymour's personal philosophy-inspired by her mother's advice-that if you keep your heart open, love will always find its way in.

To enter the contest, which runs through March 5, participants just need to register at www.keepanopenheart.dja.com and share their personal story of opening their heart to others – whether that be a simple act of kindness or a commitment to a dedicated philanthropic effort. All submissions will be judged based upon established criteria and one grand prize winner will be selected to receive an amazing trip to Malibu, CA to meet Jane Seymour and attend the 5^th annual Open Hearts Foundation Gala. Four first prize winners up will receive a special piece of jewelry from the Open Hearts by Jane Seymour®, Open Hearts Family by Jane Seymour™ or Open Hearts Waves by Jane Seymour™ collection. 

All contest entrants will also be eligible for a weekly sweepstakes. Five winners will be selected at random each week and will receive a beautiful piece of jewelry from the Open Hearts by Jane Seymour® collection.
