KeHE Customers Reap Rewards Of Successful West Coast Expansion
NAPERVILLE, Ill., June 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On April 15th of this year, KeHE Distributors opened its newest, state-of-the-art, LEED Certified, distribution facility in Stockton, California. Serving the Northern California region under the name Nature's Best, Powered by KeHE, this new facility is an important addition to the Company's overall growth strategy.

As KeHE expands its national network of distribution centers, services levels to customers continue to improve as proximity has been optimized. The Company's management has been pleased with the improved, expanded and close-to-market services that have resulted from the integration.
Customers within the KeHE southwestern distribution network have recently transitioned to the Flower Mound, Texas location. "We enjoy working with KeHE; they are our number 1 distributor. There's great management at KeHE and the transition has gone smoothly," said Perry Worthen, owner of family-run Granary and HerbMart in Texas.
KeHE's vendor community has also taken notice, as they are experiencing more efficient shipping and points of distribution. The distribution centers are larger and carry a wider assortment of products. Synergies and expertise have helped improve fill rates.
The proximity (of the distributions centers) to the customers is also reducing KeHE's carbon footprint.
