Kelly Kincannon departs Kincannon & Reed

WASHINGTON, Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Kelly Kincannon, Founder and Chairman of Kincannon & Reed, has announced that effective 1 September, 2013, he has left the firm to pursue professional interests outside executive search.

Mr. Kincannon started Kincannon & Reed in June of 1981 on the third floor of his home in St. Louis. In 1986 he moved the practice to metropolitan Washington, D.C. During the last thirty-two years, Kelly recruited leaders in the food, agribusiness, and life sciences sectors across a broad spectrum of public, private, and cooperative structured companies, as well as industry associations and other non-profit organizations. In 2007 Mr. Kincannon sold the firm to the current management team. Since that time, revenue has nearly tripled and the firm has become truly global in scope while retaining Mr. Kincannon's original industry focus.
