Its LoadMaster family of products optimize web infrastructure as defined by high-availability, high-performance, flexible scalability, ease of management and security. KEMP's LoadMaster product portfolio simplifies the management of networked resources, and optimizes and accelerates user access to diverse servers, content and transaction-based systems.
Welcoming the announcement, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation Batt O'Keeffe TD, said, "I am delighted to welcome KEMP Technologies to Ireland and to Limerick. KEMP operates in an emerging area of the ICT sector and the 25 jobs to be created in Limerick are all highly skilled in the areas of sales and technical support. Investment of this nature is in keeping with Ireland's Smart Economy reputation and I look forward to supporting KEMP as they develop their operations here."
Kevin Mahon, President of KEMP Technologies noted, "Ireland provides KEMP with all the necessary requirements for the establishment of its EMEA headquarters including a highly skilled workforce and access to an excellent research base at the University of Limerick, and the availability of competitively priced, technology equipped office space. KEMP in Limerick will focus on the development of the EMEA market. The successful establishment of the operation led by Ray Downes will enhance KEMP's ability to carry out advanced sales, marketing and customer support from a European base."
IDA CEO Barry O'Leary said, "The establishment of KEMP's operation in Ireland is in keeping with IDA's mandate to attract foreign direct investment in emerging areas. The Irish operation will manage all revenue streams from across the EMEA region. In addition to sales and marketing and technical support, the Limerick facility will act as a distribution point for KEMP's load balancers where they will be custom tested and configured on site prior to being shipped to customers across the EMEA region. I would like to offer the continued support of IDA Ireland to KEMP in the set-up and growth of its Irish operation."
