Kemps to Create Memorable Family Reunions at Minnesota State Fair

ST. PAUL, Minn., July 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate special family memories at the Minnesota State Fair, Kemps today announced the launch of the "Then & Now: Kemps State Fair Photo Contest." Now through August 9, fans can submit their favorite past photos of family and friends at the Great Minnesota Get-Together for the chance to reunite and "recreate" the photo at the fair. Kemps will select three grand prize winners who will receive a year's supply of Kemps ice cream and a trip to the State Fair. Fans can submit their photos at www.kemps.com/promotions/state-fair.

The Minnesota State Fair is the perfect backdrop for this contest, also having a more than 100-year history in the lives and cultures of Minnesota families."

The three winners will be announced in August and must be available to travel to the Minnesota State Fair between Aug. 27 and Sept. 7. Kemps will bring up to 10 people photographed in the original photo and will pay all expenses including airfare and accommodation. At the fair, the reunited group will recreate the photo in the same location that the original picture was taken. The contest plays off of photograph recreations that have grown in popularity across the internet and on social media.

In addition, Kemps will offer activities at the Kemps booth located on Machinery Hill. Fairgoers can stop by and sample delicious Kemps ice cream products, tour the Mooseum to learn about Kemps' 100 year history and participate in other fun family-friendly activities. 

Outside of the Kemps booth, kids can participate in the Kemps-sponsored Little Farm Hands Exhibit, located in the Dairy Barn.
