Kenneth Porreca joins Avison Young in New Jersey
Highly regarded office leasing expert becomes Principal, will spearhead growth of the firm's market share in Bergen County and Hudson County waterfront
MORRISTOWN, NJ, April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Jeffrey Heller, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm's New Jersey office, announced today that highly regarded office leasing professional Kenneth Porreca has joined the company in New Jersey.
Effective immediately, Porreca becomes a Principal of Avison Young. Based in the firm's Morristown office, he will lead Avison Young's business development efforts in Bergen and Hudson counties, working closely with his colleagues in New Jersey and across the Tri-State region.

Porreca, who previously served as a managing director at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, is one of the industry's most consistent producers, having achieved Costar's Power Broker award for four consecutive years. Porreca brings a decade of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young, having completed office leasing assignments for notable companies such as Locus Telecommunications, Statements Solutions Inc., Kamson Corporation, Curtis Wright, Bacardi, Hanjin Shipping and the General Services Administration (GSA).

Porreca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology (with a minor in business) from Rutgers University. He is active in the commercial real estate industry as a member of the Commerce of Industrial Association of New Jersey. In his community, he serves as a board member on Hopes & Heroes, a children's cancer foundation, and has affiliations with Columbia University and Franklin Lakes Education Foundation.
