Kent Giles to Lead New Telemedicine Company for Jackson Healthcare

ATLANTA, July 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jackson Healthcare today announced Kent Giles as president of its newest operating company, Virtual Medical Staff. Virtual Medical Staff helps hospitals and other healthcare providers improve patient access to a staff of physicians who work remotely via telemedicine.

Giles brings more than 30 years of leadership experience and a successful track record of partnering with physicians to develop new models of care that improve patient access, enhance care quality and reduce costs.

Prior to Virtual Medical Staff, Giles served as CEO and managing partner of ROI Solutions, a firm that helps healthcare providers and payers implement effective technology and process solutions for care. He has also held leadership roles with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and HCA, the country's largest investor-owned hospital corporation. An active volunteer with organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, MUST Ministries, and Pope High School in Marietta, Georgia, Giles is dedicated to community service.
