Keolis Pays Tribute To First Responders Across North America And Around The World With Sponsorship Of 2015 World Police & Fire Games

FAIRFAX, Va., June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Keolis, a leading provider of passenger transportation services with operations in U.S. and Canada is supporting local first responders on their journey to Fairfax, Virginia to compete in the 2015 World Police & Fire Games from June 26 to July 5.

Held biennially, the World Police & Fire Games continues to grow in size and scope, in both attendance and number of countries participating. Some key facts and figures about the 2015 Games include:

• 12,000 athletes from more than 70 countries will be participating, making the event larger than the 2012 Summer Olympics
• 30,000 family visitors will be in attendance of the Games
• $70 million will be produced in direct economic impact to the region
• 61 sporting events will be held in 53 venues in and around Fairfax County, Virginia and the National Capital Region
