Kevin Seawright and RPS Solutions LLC Assist Baltimore City Housing Employee Attain First Home
BALTIMORE, July 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kevin Seawright is the founder of RPS Solutions LLC, a Baltimore firm that oversees development, asset management, acquisition, governmental contracting and sale of assets in financially stressed neighborhoods.
Founded in 2015, RPS Solutions LLC began constructing and renovating homes to provide affordable housing for first time home-buyer residents of Baltimore and nearby areas.
Seawright stated that it had long been his passion to make homeownership easier for Baltimore residents. He believes that pride of homeownership is one of the most important aspects of wealth development and also recognizes that homeownership is a valuable component of providing stability to declining neighborhoods.
By partnering with Baltimore City Officials and Housing & Community Development, RPS Solutions LLC plans to renovate houses expressly for first time home buyers who haven't been able to qualify for home ownership.
A recent renewal program success story involves the son of a long-time friend of Seawright. Jerel Brown's mother worked alongside Seawright for years in Baltimore City, dating back to when Jerel was 10 years old. Now an adult and working for the Baltimore City Housing Department, Jerel still found himself shut out of the housing market because of his budget. Jerel stated "it was really tough finding upgraded properties at a budget I could afford".
When approached by Seawright who suggested buying a renovated house in the Baltimore Metro area, Brown jumped at the chance.
