Kiddie Academy of Urbana Raises $4,000 to Support Sophie and Madigan's Playground

Community fundraiser helps advance final phase of Peter Pan–themed inclusive play space

FREDERICK, Md., Sept. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Sophie and Madigan's Playground is proud to announce that Kiddie Academy of Urbana and its families recently hosted a fundraiser and auction that generated more than $4,000 in support of the organization's mission.

The funds will directly benefit the completion of the third and final phase of the Sophie and Madigan Lillard Memorial Playground, an inclusive, Peter Pan–themed play space designed to spark imagination, adventure, and joy for children of all abilities.
