Kimpton Tres Ríos Debuts in Riviera Maya, Mexico
Freshwater rivers, private cenotes, vibrant restaurants and bars, and Kimpton's signature warmth come together in a nature-rich Riviera Maya escape
QUINTANA ROO, Mexico, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Kimpton Tres Ríos welcomes travelers to a 355-room-and-suite, all-inclusive resort set within a privately owned, 326-acre nature park where freshwater rivers, cenotes, and the Caribbean shoreline shape the guest experience.
The resort takes its name from three freshwater rivers that wind through the grounds to the sea. Guests can swim and kayak in a cenote-fed river and explore six of the property's 10 cenotes on guided tours, including one for swimming and snorkeling. On guided nature walks, guests discover a park home to 120 plant and 90 animal species, including spider monkeys, coatimundis, iguanas, and a variety of birds.
"Kimpton Tres Ríos brings the warmth, individuality and intuitive service that define Kimpton to one of the Riviera Maya's most extraordinary natural settings," said Jorge Martinez, General Manager of Kimpton Tres Ríos. "From cenote-fed rivers and jungle trails to lively dining and daily moments of wonder, the resort invites guests to experience the culture and landscape of this remarkable place in a way that feels personal, generous and unmistakably Kimpton."
Accommodations include mangrove-view rooms; one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites; and a Presidential Suite, each with a private balcony or terrace, plus connecting-room options for families and multigenerational groups.
Seven restaurants and five bars span Italian-inspired Bacetto, Japanese Kotori, steakhouse El Carnal, and open-air De La Calle, inspired by Mexico's street food culture. Café Casa serves coffee, pastries, and juices, La Campana is a lively sports bar with curated beers, and 24-hour Suite Service rounds out the offering.
Four outdoor pools are complemented by whirlpools, cabanas, and nonmotorized water sports, while programming ranges from sunrise beach yoga to guided stargazing and moonlit sound baths. Families can enjoy a water park with slides and lifeguard service, and Club Aventuras offers supervised activities for children ages 4 to 12.
The 10,000-square-foot Kej Spa offers hydrotherapy, massage, and beauty treatments alongside Mayan-inspired rituals, including a temazcal experience and the Cenote Sacred Treatment. A two-story fitness center houses cardio, weights, cycling, yoga, and meditation spaces.
The Tres Ríos Ballroom hosts weddings, meetings, and group events for up to 500 guests with full audiovisual capabilities, while beaches, gardens, terraces, and esplanades set the scene for ceremonies and receptions. On-property event coordinators provide planning support, customizable menus, and group room blocks.
In 2027, the resort plans to introduce a dedicated adults-only experience featuring rooms and suites with swim-up access and private plunge pools.
