Kincannon & Reed expands Asia-Pacific presence
Philip Osborne joins firm in Australia, brings extensive food and advisory experience to engagements.
SYDNEY, Dec. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Kincannon & Reed, the leading global retained executive search firm serving the food, agribusiness, and life sciences sectors, has announced that Phillip Osborne has joined the firm as a Managing Director, Australia/New Zealand.
Osborne's background includes CEO and CFO positions in the FMCG, beverage, food and food ingredients, and agribusiness sectors. In addition, he led turn-arounds and recovery efforts on behalf of private equity firms, and has consulted in the fields of genomic research, food manufacture, and aquaculture.
Along with long-time principal Mike Banks, Osborne will serve Kincannon & Reed clients in Australia and New Zealand, as well as through greater Asia as part of the Kincannon & Reed Asia-Pacific team.

Phil began his career at the accounting firm of Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG). He then moved into executive positions with Mount Gambier Cooperative Dairy, Southern Egg, Farm Pride Foods, Evans & Tate, and Gourmet Food Holdings before moving into advisory services.
He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Deakin University, and is a graduate of the Wine Executive Program at the University of California, Davis. In addition, Phil is a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
