BOSTON, Nov. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Kisoo Park has been named managing director and portfolio manager for the Global Multi-Sector Fixed Income team at Manulife Asset Management.
Reporting to Daniel S. Janis III, who heads the team, Mr. Park will be based in Hong Kong and support the team in global bond and foreign exchange research. His appointment is effective immediately.
Mr. Park has more than 20 years of experience in foreign exchange and global fixed income and previously was a founder and chief operating officer of an Asia-focused, event-driven hedge fund in Hong Kong.
"I've known Kisoo as a business and industry colleague for more than 20 years and I am thrilled to have him join our team," Mr. Janis said. "He has an exceptional depth and breadth of experience in the foreign exchange markets and global fixed income. We already have an outstanding team in Asia, and the addition of Kisoo and his years of experience only serves to further strengthen our on the ground presence to the benefit of our clients."
