Kneaders Bakery & Café Announces 50th Store Grand Opening
SALT LAKE CITY, July 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kneaders Bakery & Café is excited to announce its 50th store opening set for today in Phoenix, Ariz. Kneaders is dedicated to the communities it serves; this support has helped drive the company's growth plans over the last 19 years.
The Phoenix store marks the 16th in Arizona and the 50th in the western United States. Salt Lake City-based Kneaders, is known for making substantial and significant contributions to strengthen the health, social, educational and cultural fabric of each community it is located in. Kneaders' 50th store will continue the company's tradition of donating all unsold bread at the end of each day to a local organization to support the community and minimize food waste.

Known for creating scratch-made artisanal European hearth breads; fresh, made-to-order sandwiches; and a warm and inviting atmosphere, Kneaders easily distinguishes itself from other cafés. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, it uses only the highest quality ingredients to make a wide variety of menu items. Each location slow-roasts up to 200 pounds of turkey breasts daily, which is hand-pulled and served fresh on Kneaders sandwiches and salads. Bakers create 13 varieties of bread daily, often beginning as early as 2 a.m., along with more than 42 scratch-made pastries, cakes, cookies and desserts.
Like its other locations, the Phoenix store will include a retail shop, which offers custom-made and themed gift baskets, as well as a variety of home décor, online ordering capabilities and drive-thru service. Hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
