Koan Health Buys ZirMed Inc.'s Value-Based Care Business, Becomes Preferred Partner

DALLAS, May 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Koan Health, a leading health care analytics and advisory firm, has acquired ZirMed Inc.'s, value-based care analytics business, including its clients, solutions and core staff. It will also become the Louisville, Ky.-based financial and clinical performance management firm's preferred partner for value-based care services.

Since its launch in 2012, Koan Health's predictive analytics and support have helped accountable care organizations and health systems meet the demands of public and commercial pay-for-value arrangements in population health and specific episodes of care, including congestive heart failure, stroke, major joint replacement and pneumonia.
