KOBE, Japan, Sept. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (KBIC), one of Japan's largest biomedical clusters, took part for the first time in the medical device exhibition Medical Fair Thailand, held in Bangkok from September 10 to September 12.
The Cluster proactively supports its business partners in overseas business development, and has taken part in the annual German medical device exhibition MEDICA since 2008.
To provide business-matching opportunities in Asia, a market enjoying continuing growth in the medical field, the KBIC partnered with eight companies to exhibit at the fair. Other companies from around Asia such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore also participated.
A KBIC representative commented on the exhibition, saying, "With around 1,200 people visiting our booth and nearly 400 business sessions, we are confident that taking part in the exhibition contributed to the development of the businesses which displayed their products and technologies. We are determined to continue proactively taking part in exhibitions abroad and providing support to companies in the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster."
The KBIC is looking forward to expanding its operations even further and inviting interested parties to get in touch.
