Kollegio's AI-driven platform personalizes the college planning process, acting as a virtual counselor—thus, making higher education accessible to all. The latest funding will help Kollegio establish partnerships with higher education institutions across the world as the company rapidly approaches 1 million students on the platform.

Nearly 25% of all U.S. schools lack a single counselor. Where they are available, they are overwhelmed: California's student-to-counselor ratio is 443-to-1, and the national average is 376-to-1. Both significantly exceed the American School Counselor Association's recommended ratio of 250-to-1. Internationally, the numbers are even more dire.

Private college counselors range from several thousand dollars to six figures to hire. This puts the majority of students with aspirations of higher education at a disadvantage, as the price point is simply out of reach. Kollegio was created to democratize the college admission process for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background, by providing white-glove counseling assistance traditionally reserved for the wealthy, free of charge. Since Kollegio's launch in August 2024, 66% of students using the platform are from households making less than $100k in annual income, some earning full-ride scholarships and acceptance into top schools such as Harvard.
