Korea Importers Association Visits Irvine to Establish Local Business Connections
Korean Delegation Visited Irvine Chamber of Commerce as Part of a Multi-City Tour to Stimulate Korean Imports
IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Irvine Chamber of Commerce recently organized business meetings between Korean business representatives led by the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) and local businesses. The event took place on September 30th at the Irvine Chamber and drew several local businesses who were interested in establishing business relations with Korean firms. The importance of this visit drew City of Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang to the event, as he himself is Korean-American. The event lasted several hours and those interested in meeting with Korean firms were given the opportunity to meet one-on-one, as well as network.

The KOIMA delegation was part of a four-city tour, which also included Washington D.C., Baltimore, Los Angeles; Irvine was the final stop before returning to Korea. The Korean delegation was led by Dr. Ju-Tae Lee, Chairman of KOIMA and the former CEO of Samsung and former Presidential Advisor for Public Relations.
