Korn/Ferry Appoints Charles Yong as Country Manager to Lead Strategic Expansion in Indonesia

JAKARTA, Indonesia, Sept 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, has appointed Charles Yong as Country Manager for Indonesia and Office Managing Director of its Jakarta office.

Mr. Yong is a member of the Firm's Global Industrial Market and has over a decade of executive search experience, specializing in senior-level assignments in the basic materials and resources sector, as well as in Supply Chain Management.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Yong was a management consultant with Accenture's strategic services practice in London. There he managed European-wide engagements, advising major corporations on strategy formulation, corporate restructuring and organizational development.  His earlier experience also includes working for Royal/Dutch Shell in exploration and production, based in Malaysia, and in the downstream businesses in China, Hong Kong and Korea.

Mr. Yong holds an MBA from INSEAD, as well as a bachelor degree in management information systems and a bachelor in accountancy from the Honors College of the University of Houston, Texas.
