Krispy Kreme Brings New Cafe to Downtown Toronto Doughnut Fans

TORONTO, June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Krispy Kreme is giving Toronto and surrounding area doughnut fans another sweet reason to smile with the grand opening of the new Krispy Kreme Doughnut Cafe at 162 McCaul Street, Toronto ON, M5T 1W3 (just north of Dundas Street W).  Fans of Krispy Kreme's signature sweet treats and beverages are invited to a grand opening celebration on Thursday, June 28 at 7:00 a.m.  Grand opening festivities will include product sampling and tasty prizes for the first four dozen guests in line.

The new Krispy Kreme Doughnut Cafe grand opening events begin at 7:00 a.m.. Get there early for a chance to win the following:

• The first 12 customers in line at the grand opening will receive a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts a month for one year.
• The next 3 dozen customers in line at the grand opening will receive a free Krispy Kreme collectable travel coffee mug.

The new Doughnut Cafe is approximately 600 square feet and will feature Krispy Kreme's unique menu of one-of-a-kind doughnut varieties, signature coffees and espresso drinks, and delicious baked goods including bagels, muffins and croissants.  It will also offer several exciting new hand made bakery items, uniquely known as Krispy Kreme Pull Aparts (hand-rolled fluffy dough, filled with savoury ingredients) and Kruffins (a decadent muffins with a hole filled with delicious fruits, luscious creams or rich chocolate).  The hours of operation are expected to be:  Monday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
