Krispy Kreme to Launch 75th Birthday Celebrations with Daytona Unveiling and Sweet Reveal

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Feb. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- At 8am on February 23, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will launch its 75th Birthday celebrations with the revealing of a Sweet Surprise for its fans, and the unveiling of the newly branded #2 Krispy Kreme Race Car at Krispy Kreme, 980 International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32114.

On February 8, Krispy Kreme announced its partnership with Coulter Motorsports and sponsorship of Gray Gaulding, just weeks before the championship winning driver's fourteenth birthday. In addition to racing #2 in 16 Super Late Model South Races, Gray and # 2 will make several personal appearances at Krispy Kreme Shops and events in the Southeast.

July 13, 2012 marks Krispy Kreme Doughnuts' 75th year of sharing delicious treats and creating joyful memories. The international sweet treat retailer will reveal its celebration plans at a festive fan event at the Krispy Kreme Shop in Daytona, Florida.

In addition to an 8am unveiling, reveal, and meet and greet with #2 car driver Gray Gaulding and a number of racing legends, there will be special activities, games and giveaways throughout the day.

Fans who arrive at the event between 7:30am and 8:00am will receive One Free Original Glazed Doughnut, while supplies last.
