Kuper Sotheby's International Realty Ranks #1 In San Antonio, #10 In Texas According To REAL Trends

SAN ANTONIO, May 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- REAL Trends, the trusted source for news, research and information about the real estate brokerage industry, announced the results of the 2016 REAL Trends 500, an independently verified compilation of the nation's leading residential real estate companies.

Included in the REAL Trends 500 is Kuper Sotheby's International Realty. Kuper ranked number 1 in San Antonio, number 10 in the state of Texas and number 131 in the entire Nation by Real Trends 500 with a sales volume of $1,412,352,440 in 2015. These numbers firmly solidify Kuper Sotheby's International Realty as San Antonio's largest independently-owned real estate brokerage.

This year's survey represents the most comprehensive collection of data assembled on the leaders of the residential brokerage industry. Numbers are documented by outside accounting firms. 

"Housing sales in the nation were up 9.5 percent in 2015 from 2014 marking one of the strongest years since the downturn in the 2005-2010 period," said Steve Murray, president of REAL Trends.  "However, firms ranked in the REAL Trends 500 were up 13.1 percent, well out-performing the national housing market." 

It took 1,702 transactions to be included on this year's REAL Trends 500, up from a minimum of 1,495 transactions a year ago.  In 2014 there were 170 firms recording over $1 billion in residential sales while there were 209 firms that accomplished this in 2015.  It was an incredible year for the nation's leading residential real estate brokerage firms," said Murray.
