LAS VEGAS, Jan. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, at the International Builders' Show, Kwikset launched Uptown™ and Downtown™, the most slim, stylish and secure deadbolts in its product portfolio. The contemporary deadbolts are the first of their kind, featuring a low profile design and the latest version of Kwikset patented SmartKey™ security.

Uptown and Downtown deadbolts meet the highest-rated residential security standards available in this modern style and are rated ANSI Grade 1. The deadbolts also feature the latest version of Kwikset patented SmartKey security, which provides strong resistance against torque attacks, passes the most stringent lock-picking standards (UL 437, par 11.6.) and utilizes BumpGuard™ to prevent lock bumping. Uptown and Downtown will be the first deadbolts available for purchase with the latest SmartKey security.
