Kwikset® Partners with Richard Petty Motorsports Driver Marcos Ambrose for the Race to Smart Security Facebook Sweepstakes

LAKE FOREST, Calif., Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Kwikset^®, the authority in smart, simple security solutions, and Richard Petty Motorsports, a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team, and its driver Marcos Ambrose, have partnered to launch the Race to Smart Security Facebook Sweepstakes. The winner of this exciting program will have the opportunity to see Ambrose race a special Kwikset-branded No. 9 Ford Fusion at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sept. 4.

The sweepstakes program which will run from Aug. 1 through Aug. 22, will award one lucky fan the ultimate VIP package – tickets, travel and accommodations for two to see Ambrose race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Labor Day Weekend, a fan experience with Ambrose and a $1,000 home security makeover with Kwikset locks.

The Kwikset Race to Smart Security Facebook Sweepstakes is part of Kwikset's Smart Security Tour: a mobile marketing tour that has been making stops at various home improvement retailers and select sporting events throughout 2011. The Tour demonstrates Kwikset's security, quality and innovation in door locks including SmartKey® Re-key Technology, SmartCode^™ electronic locks, and Home Connect^™ Technology. The tour began in February and will run until November 2011. The Smart Security Tour will be in the Fan Zone at Atlanta Motor Speedway (1500 Highway 19/41, Hampton, GA 30228) to share smart security tips and products with fans and community members. Ambrose will be making a special appearance to sign autographs and visit with fans at the Smart Security Tour in Atlanta.
