Kwokman Productions Produces First Pay Per View Event From China

LOS ANGELES, April 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, Kwokman Productions broadcast "Legend Fighting Championship 4" (LFC4) as the first show to be produced in China for Pay Per View. The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event is the first of its kind broadcast from China and was available to all North American cable and satellite subscribers.

From operations and logistics, to all creative and technical aspects of the broadcast, Kwokman Productions achieved a milestone for both the country (China) as well as the company.  "China has always been a backdrop to large, major sporting events.  The Legend Fighting Championship, being Mixed Martial Arts, has cultural and historical ties to China.  We feel honored to be able to bring such high quality entertainment out of China to the North American Pay Per View Audience," commented Matthew Kwok, President of Kwokman Productions, on the show's significance. "Legend Fighting Championship 4" is the third MMA event produced by Kwokman Productions, and the first event produced in China to be offered by every major Pay Per View provider in North America.  With eight high-definition cameras and the newest broadcast technology, LFC4 highlights the region's history as the birthplace of MMA, as well as the 18 participating athletes from the Pan-Pacific area. Participating athletes trained in, and travelled from several countries including, China, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Philippines, New Zealand and Australia. LFC4 featured a rematch from LFC1 as the main event: Adrian Pang of Australia, defending his title against Nam Yui Chul of Korea.  The broadcast was hosted by commentators Mike Rehu and MMA athlete Vaughn Anderson.
