Kyle Jeffery Joins Callison Dallas Office

SEATTLE, Aug. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Global architecture and design firm Callison announced today that Kyle Jeffery has joined the firm as a Design Director in the Dallas office. Mr. Jeffery, whose career in design spans 29 years, will oversee projects in the department store studio.

Kyle Jeffery joins Callison from Gensler where he was a Design Director in the firm's Dallas office. The breadth and complexity of his work has made him a leader in retail design, fixture design, displays, merchandising, branding and storytelling. Mr. Jeffery has a clear grasp of what it takes to create a positive customer experience and satisfy key financial drivers for success. His keen ability to experience the design process from strategy to ideation, design to implementation, and manufacturing to merchandising, greatly informs his designs and understanding of the different needs of all the retail channels.

Mr. Jeffery began his career working for a millworker and understands shop fabrication. He then opened and ran a millwork shop for several years, designing and building furniture and custom cabinets. Mr. Jeffery joined RYA Design Consultancy, a retail design studio specializing in luxury retailers including Neiman Marcus, Liverpool and Bloomingdale's. Later, as Design Director for Fossil Inc. at the company's headquarters in Dallas, Mr. Jeffery led a design and brand team for the design and execution of all new store concepts, the rollout of the private label brand's boutique and shop-n-shop initiatives, and a global portfolio of environment, fixture and brand elements.

Mr. Jeffery has won numerous awards for his projects, including the VMSD 2013 Renovation of the Year Award for Neiman Marcus in Bal Harbour, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a LEED accredited professional.
