La Pitchoune Winery Wins Best Premium Chardonnay in the Largest Competition of American Wines
FORESTVILLE, Calif., Jan. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2014 La Pitchoune Chardonnay from Chenoweth Vineyard was crowned the best premium Chardonnay ($45+) at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, being named Best of Class.
Founded in 2012 by Peter & Tracy Nielsen, La Pitchoune was established with the vision of creating beautifully balanced wines by combining the consistent and predictable weather of Sonoma with true old-word techniques. The SFCWC Best of Class winners, are widely regarded as among the best wines in America. Due to the SFCWC's size and the expertise of the judging panel, this competition is often considered the ultimate barometer for wine consumers to select and measure wine.
