ATLANTA, Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Labrador, a leading compliance communications advisory, design and publishing firm congratulates the Corporate Secretary 2014 Corporate Governance Award winners.
The Corporate Governance awards were established in 2007 by Corporate Secretary Magazine. They are open to all corporate secretaries, general counsel, governance officers and compliance officers at any company listed and domiciled in the U.S. The international category is open to any publicly traded non-US company. The ceremony was held on November 5, 2014, at Gotham Hall in New York City. Both teams and individuals from listed companies came together to recognize outstanding disclosure in corporate governance, risk and compliance.
Three Labrador clients were nominated in six different categories, totaling seven nominations; a Labrador client has won the coveted Best Proxy Statement in two of the last three years. "We would like to congratulate all of the winners in each category of the Corporate Governance Awards, and among them, two of our clients, Target Corporation and Chesapeake Utilities. We are especially proud that Target Corporation was awarded the 2014 Best Proxy Statement," stated Laurent Rouyres, President of Labrador.
"One of the highlights of our year is to see our clients and friends nominated for these prestigious awards. We celebrate with them and recognize their excellent work and dedication to corporate governance," commented Clint Williams, the company's Director of Sales and Business Development.
