LAC Group Names Robert Corrao as President

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- LAC Group has named Robert Corrao as president, a role previously held by LAC Group CEO Deborah Schwarz. Corrao adds the position of president to his work as chief operating officer, reporting to Schwarz. LAC Group provides Library as a Service (LaaS) solutions as well as services such as business intelligence, preservation and archiving, spend management and knowledge management for Fortune 500 corporations, law firms, Hollywood studios, academic institutions and government agencies.

As president and COO, Corrao is responsible for leading business operations across LAC Group's five business units, mergers & acquisitions, strategy and marketing. Corrao joined LAC Group in 2008 after Schwarz recruited him to join the firm.

Corrao has more than 20 years of experience in information technology, strategy, operations, consulting, sales and marketing. Prior to joining LAC, Corrao was the president of Softlink America, an integrated library software solution, which focused on the technology needs of special and corporate libraries and archives.

Corrao is a member of the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), Special Libraries Association (SLA) and Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA). He is also a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight West, a non-profit arranging free air transportation in response to health care and other compelling human needs. Corrao holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
