Lakeside Software Opens EMEA Head Office

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lakeside Software, a leader in big data analytics for IT professionals, today announced that it has opened a regional headquarters for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) based in the UK, and has appointed top industry veteran Tony Coleman to serve as its managing director.

This move is precipitated by rapidly expanding demand in EMEA for the company's SysTrack IT business intelligence solutions.  SysTrack is already used by over 500 systems integrators in countries around the world for desktop transformation projects and is deployed by thousands of customers.

With almost 30 years' experience in the IT industry in EMEA, Mr. Coleman has an excellent track record and network for helping to establish companies.  A specialist in 'start-up' environments, he was a contributor to the success and trade sale of AppDNA and Netscaler to Citrix and the UK market floatation of Netstore.  Most recently at AppDNA, Mr. Coleman was regional VP for Northern Europe where he defined, staffed and executed the go-to-market plan and was instrumental to accelerating AppDNA growth and building on a leadership position in a competitive market.

As managing director EMEA, Mr. Coleman will direct all regional sales and business development initiatives and recruit and lead all regional staff.  In his new role, Mr. Coleman reports to Michael Schumacher, chief executive officer of Lakeside Software, and is a member of Lakeside's executive management team.
