PARIS, July 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Last night, Lancôme paid tribute to beauty, fashion and Paris, celebrating the brand's collaboration with Sonia Rykiel for its upcoming exclusive limited-edition Fall 2016 make-up collection. A Parisian partnership of two houses sharing the same outlook on femininity, elegance and beauty, the union is a natural one.
A creative collaboration between Lancôme Makeup Creative Director Lisa Eldridge and Sonia Rykiel Artist Director Julie de Librain, the collection brings to life the carefree 60's era with graphic multi-colored stripes, and Left Bank culture with vibrant designs created by renowned French street artist, André. The intuitive range of products offers luxurious and fashion-forward textures and designs that result in a customizable finish.
The Club Saint-Germain party, held last night at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, alluded to the mythical nightlife of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, as well as the freedom and innate sense of chic and French attitude of the Parisian woman.
As soon as they stepped into les Beaux-Arts, guests found themselves on the terrace of a typical French café, named Café de Fleurs for the occasion. Then, a passage through a hidden door led them to the Club Saint-Germain, which featured a live performance by international artists Cerrone, Martha Wash, HollySiz and Barbara Tucker, on a stage created under the artistic direction of André.
Françoise Lehmann, General Manager of Lancôme International, greeted an impressive list of guests, including ambassadress Alma Jodorowsky, who is one of the two faces of the Sonia Rykiel x Lancôme campaign, Julie de Libran, Sonia Rykiel's Artistic Director, Lisa Eldridge, Lancôme International's Make-up Creative Director, Lola Rykiel, Cecile Cassel, Barbara Tucker, Marie-Ange Casta, Sonia Sieff, Charlotte Le Bon, Mathieu Cesar, Boyd Holdbrook, Olivier Coursier, Betty Autier, Natalia Ionova, Tatiana de Rosnay, Adriana Ugarte, Michael Cohen, Felix de Givry, Roxane Mesquida, François X, Alice David, Lolita Jacobs, Arnaud Vaillant, Sébastien Meyer, Pedro Winter, Maximiliano Patane, Tamy Glauser, Crystal Renn, Frankie Wallach, Gilda Ambrosio, Yi Zhou, Christina Pitanguy, Natalie Ludwig, Jean-Victor Meyers, Nicolas Meyers, Giorgia Tordini, Josephine le Tutour, Madison Stubbington, Magda Laguinge, Mahaut Mondino, and Natalia Bonifacci among others.
