Larry Arndt joins Barton Malow Company as Senior Director of their Chicago office
The Illinois native brings his talents to make Barton Malow the builder of choice in the region
CHICAGO, March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of Barton Malow Company's recent growth, the organization recently named Larry Arndt to lead their Chicago office as it continues to build its presence in the area. Arndt is tasked with overseeing the office's operations, which includes project oversight, business acquisition, project staffing, and more.
Through projects at the University of Illinois, the University of Chicago, Soldier Field and Northwestern, Barton Malow has a foundation of proven success in Northeastern Illinois. With Arndt helping lead the company's operations in the area, he hopes to carry the momentum to a new level.

Arndt has been a main-stay in the industry and has showcased his breadth of knowledge throughout previous roles. Having started as an architect focusing on healthcare clients for Brannon and Company, he parlayed his experience into a Masters in Civil Engineering at Bradley University. He then spent 18 years at M.A. Mortenson handing project management and an executive role in work acquisition. When describing his decision to join Barton Malow, Ardnt states, "I wanted to take the next step, and with Barton Malow's culture and a yearning to grow their business in new and innovative ways, I was ready to hop on board."
One of the missions Arndt is most excited to handle is building on the team-centric culture at Barton Malow. "I want to make our team even more open to collaboration and idea exchanges.
