Latinas in Cannabis Summit Unites Women, Business and Culture in Los Angeles
The fourth annual Summit returns Sept. 26 during Latino Heritage Month, connecting hundreds of women and cannabis industry leaders through business, education, commerce and culture
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The 4th Annual Latinas in Cannabis Summit returns to Los Angeles on Sept. 26, bringing together hundreds of cannabis entrepreneurs, executives, retailers, cultivators, journalists, creators, consumers and industry leaders for a day of business, education, culture and community.
Taking place during Latino/Hispanic Heritage Month, the Summit has evolved into a multifaceted industry gathering centered on increasing visibility and opportunity for Latinas and women in cannabis while creating meaningful connections across business, retail, media, cultivation and culture.
Founded by entrepreneur and cannabis industry leader Susie Plascencia, Latinas in Cannabis launched in 2020 to connect and elevate Latinas across the cannabis industry. Now in its fourth year, the Summit brings emerging entrepreneurs and creators together with established brands, retailers and executives while welcoming women and allies from across the broader cannabis community.
"Latinas have always been part of the cannabis story — as consumers, entrepreneurs, cultivators, advocates, creatives and executives," said Susie Plascencia, Founder and CEO of Latinas in Cannabis. "We don't want to simply celebrate representation; we want to build infrastructure around it. We want women leaving the Summit with a new client, retailer relationship, collaborator or knowledge they can immediately apply to their business."
Under the 2026 theme "Collaboration Over Competition," programming spans entrepreneurship, sales, corporate leadership, intellectual property, cultivation, motherhood, media and the cannabis creator economy.
The returning CannaJefa and CannaMom panels will explore leadership, entrepreneurship, motherhood and stigma. New this year are dedicated Cannabis Journalism and Cannabis Influencer panels examining the influence of media and creators on cannabis culture, consumer education and brand discovery. An interactive Women in Cultivation segment will combine hands-on seed planting with cultivation education and recognition of women growers.
Catalyst Cannabis Co., one of California's largest cannabis retail networks with more than 30 locations across the state, will serve as Presenting Sponsor. A dedicated Summit Day Menu, provided by Catalyst Retail and powered by Stash Dash Delivery, will feature select products from participating brands in accordance with applicable California cannabis regulations.
Notable Summit partners include Puffco, Advanced Nutrients, Wizard Trees, Cannabiotix (CBX), ROVE, KANHA, Lime, Khalifa Kush, Pretty Dope, Rosin Tech Labs, Vicente LLP, Dope CFO and others.
Beyond panels and workshops, the Summit will feature interactive brand activations and product education. Puffco, a longtime supporter of Latinas in Cannabis, returns with its signature Puffco Experience at the Summit's Dab Den. Wizard Trees, the Summit's Flower Partner, will anchor a dedicated lounge featuring the Storz & Bickel Premium Vapor Bar Experience. Highatus, an edibles brand powered by CBX, will bring its interactive Mango Cart, highlighting its newly launched Spicy Mango gummy flavor.
This year's Summit will also intentionally welcome Filipina women in cannabis, extending its commitment to cross-cultural solidarity and representation.
The Summit begins with a Welcome Ceremony and intention-setting meditation on Sept. 26 in Los Angeles. Doors open at 8 a.m., with the Welcome Ceremony at 9 a.m. and programming beginning at 10 a.m.
