JACKSONVILLE, Fla., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Latitude 30 (Latitude 30 Group LLC) today announced it is entering its third week of its beta trial of the world's first wireless grid-enabled entertainment and dining facility. Latitude 30, a Brownstone Group company, will be integrating a wireless matrix that will interact with its customers' mobile phones, smart phones, PDA's, digital cameras, laptop computers, or any electronic device that has wireless functionality. As people enter Latitude 30, they will have the opportunity to join the Wireless Matrix™ and take part of the Social Media Xperience™. Once a person joins the Wireless Matrix he or she will have specialized access to Latitude 30's multiple dining and entertainment venues, such as VIP access to live events, preferred seating in the restaurant and special pricing on food, drinks, bowling, and the dinner cinema. They will also have the ability to interact with others that are part of the matrix.
The Latitude 30 Global Grid, which is a joint venture with WGC, now has users in both the United States and Europe and will soon be adding other members in other geographic regions making this a truly global interactive community. The first installment to Wireless Matrix will be We Jay™, a music-based application that allows users to discover new music, create playlists, text-based messaging, and create music channels as if they are the DJ. We Jay has familiar capabilities that are found in other social networks such as Facebook™ and MySpace™. We Jay will have an initial implementation that is expected to be released to approximately 2.5 million users.
"We are very excited to have successfully launched our innovative web presence prior to the opening of our facility as a way to introduce our target audience to the many leading-edge capabilities which will be a part of the Latitude 30 experience," stated Brent Brown, Managing Partner of Latitude 30. "Our ability to interact with its clients dynamically through the Wireless Matrix is an extremely valuable tool not only by enhancing our clientele's overall experience and exceeding their expectations, but also allows us to create additional revenue channels by way of third-party advertisers, gathering valuable demographic data, and the discovery of new trends."
"The launch or market-based beta marks the world's first Wireless Grid enabled facility and extended social community or matrix through multi-faceted social networking. Having grid enabled users in two geographic continents being able to share in real time content seamlessly demonstrates the vast potential of the business benefits of a grid and the associated ease at which this solution can be viral on a global basis, thus driving significant incremental revenue opportunities for both firms," said John Andrews, CEO of WGC stated.
