Laurie Paquette Named As Director Of Operations And Asset Management For Starwood Retail Properties

CHICAGO, Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Starwood Retail Properties ("SRP") announced today that Laurie Paquette has been hired as Director of Operations and Asset Management of Starwood Retail Properties ("SRP"), the newly created retail platform that will oversee the management of all investments by Starwood Capital Group and its affiliates in retail real estate. Ms. Paquette, who will be based in at the company's headquarters in Chicago, will report to F. Scott Ball, SRP's newly appointed chief operating officer.

In her new position, Ms. Paquette will be responsible for the real estate operations and property management of SRP. She also will have direct responsibility for the real estate operations of SRP, including property management, strategic planning, budget approval and oversight, capital expenditures and maintenance, and oversight of third-party vendors.

Prior to joining SRP, Ms. Paquette was Vice President of Asset Management at General Growth Properties where she was responsible for 9 million square feet of assets in Las Vegas and Hawaii. Ms. Paquette has over 25 years of professional experience, most which have been within the real estate sector.
