"While we were always confident the allegations were unfounded," said Academy Director and founder Mark Weil, "we took these accusations very seriously and immediately launched our own investigation into each charge, involving not only our own internal resources, but those of the Ojai Police Department, the Ventura County Health Department and Building Enforcement officials from the City of Ojai. The results of our investigations turned up no evidence consistent with the allegations and no violations were found."
"I'm pleased to see these allegations dismissed," said Allen Fox, Weil Tennis Academy parent, former Wimbledon quarterfinalist and past Head Men's Coach at Pepperdine University. "I've known Mark and his staff since 2004, and in fact my two sons have been campers and full-time students at the Academy. Their coaching and facilities, as well as their integrity and standards with which they run the school and camps, are second to none."
