NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Layton Road Group (www.laytonroadgroup.com) is pleased to welcome industry veteran Anthony ('Tony') Lombardi as a Managing Director of the firm's newly established Chicago office. Layton Road's expansion to Chicago will help the firm further meet the needs of the Midwest alternative investment managers and institutional investors. In addition to the firm's headquarters in New York City, Layton Road will also have professionals in New York, Dallas and San Francisco.
Tony will serve the Midwest alternative investment manager and institutional investor communities, bringing insights and perspective gained over 20+ years in the industry. He will expand the firm's efforts to deliver a meaningful and impactful menu of capital introduction and placement agent services to meet the needs of investment managers in the region. Additionally, Tony will seek to introduce and expand Layton Road's innovative outsourced capital introduction solutions to the prime brokerage and custodial services industries.
Tony joins the Layton Road Group after more than five years at Aon where he was an Associate Partner and led the emerging manager managed account platform there. His responsibilities included operations, sales, counterparty risk management, and relationship management. He has spent almost two decades in the alternatives industry having held senior roles in sales, operations and risk management.
